FYI: Given staff shortages at National Weather Service offices, this will prolong tornado survey assessments. It may be weeks until a final confirmed tornado tally is determined. 2025, sadly, has turned into a very deadly year for US tornadoes. We need fully staffed NWS offices to alert the public.
