Here is the latest on Hurricane Kiko that is moving toward the west-northwest, and is expected to pass north of the Hawaiian Islands on Tuesday and Wednesday. Swells generated by Kiko are expected to begin reaching the Big Island and Maui today.

Showers and thunderstorms may produce a localized threat of flash flooding over southern Texas and the Southeast coast and much of Florida. A few stronger thunderstorms capable of marginally severe hail/wind gusts are possible across portions of the central and southern High Plains.
