This is right. The government didnât âsettleâ this case. Trump brought a frivolous case and voluntarily withdrew it, and then the Justice Department said theyâd agreed to set up this insane slush fund for him. It has no legal connection to the case, and thereâs no legal authorization for it at all.

Generally speaking a technology is neutral but use is not. Nuclear technology neutral. A nuclear bomb is not neutral. I think the difference is consent. Nuclear energy can perhaps be set up with the consent and regulation of the people. A nuclear bomb is coming whether you like it or not.
