Acting Attorney General Blanche wants Americans to believe Trump’s proposed $1.776 billion payout fund is business as usual. DOJ has lost more than a quarter of its lawyers after a year of purges and politicized prosecutions.  This is what happens when a Justice Department serves one man instead of the rule of law.

The second attempt to prosecute James Comey over a seashell design doesn’t pass the laugh test.

“What’s happening is long-term prosecutors are resigning because they’re refusing to go along with vindictive prosecutions, which are by their nature unconstitutional,” Stacey Young, an 18-year veteran of the agency, told MeidasTouch’s Scott MacFarlane.

Justice Connection filed an amicus brief in Jackler v. DOJ warning that Article II is being used to fire career employees without due process and urging an en banc review. This case could gut civil service protections and turn merit-based hiring into a loyalty test.

“This will determine whether civil service protection laws can indeed protect federal employees as Congress intended. It’ll determine whether our country will return to the spoils system of the 19th century where patronage and corruption ran rampant,” Justice Connection’s Stacey Young told NOTUS.

This reads like a Truth Social post, not a serious filing in federal court.

DOJ leadership set career staff up to fail on the Epstein files disclosures with vague instructions, unrealistic redaction demands, and in many cases, inadequate training. That is a disservice to the victims, the public, and DOJ’s career workforce.
