LRP I stopped going to a game store because one of the members of our party kept deliberately antagonizing me (I was the only woman at the table), then tried to PK me. DM didn't choose to immediately kick him out, or even intervene in what was happening, so I left instead.

I spent an excessive number of years moderating a gaming forum and I learned a great deal about community spaces and cultivation, whether I wanted to or not. I have critical advice for anyone who runs a game store or gaming convention. Please share this thread with people who run those things.

One of the toughest things about growing up with Bipolar Disorder and now knowing about it, is the constant feeling that you could do so much more, if you just "applied yourself". I'd hear that so often from family, friends, advisors, that if I tried harder, I could make it.

Had an idea last night for an isekai fantasy world where the protagonist arrives in a fairly normal high fantasy kingdom, but instead of the Demon Lord being the enemy, it's actually the neighboring human supremacist empire.

I love writing a queer-normative fantasy world, and it's like, "Actually, no. Trans people get to exist happily here, and you can't have any of your bullshit real-world transphobia."

We managed to get my estradiol, thanks to good research from one of my partners, and GoodRX. I'm glad it all worked out in the end, but I still lament that it was this much of a process to get a medicine that I've been taking for 10 years.
