Context for why this was posted: I took the steps to get Naxolone certified a while ago in case somebody needed it at any point; I am also currently taking an opioid myself which has been prescribed by a doctor and is very carefully monitored - I’m reminding myself that I don’t want to get addicted

For as revolting as I find the history of antipsychotics and wish people with stigmatised mental illness were not treated how we are, I will say that the particular type of antipsychotics I’m on have saved my life. Nobody should be forced to take them, but I’m glad they exist for those they help
