Short answer: Christ alive, no. Long answer: Absolutely not, and frankly I can’t encourage anyone to take a job that would demand that they move hundreds, if not thousands, of miles to be corralled into an office just to have the same Zoom calls that they can take from literally anywhere.

They can't say it out loud because the answer to how AI is making games faster/better to develop is "we don't have to pay as many wages." But Anna, "AI is just making workers more productive." So are those workers getting a raise? No. Are they continuing to staff up? No. Are the game worse? Yes.

Honestly, this has been my approach to GenAI flogs: "citation needed." The ones that can argue in favour of AI have something peer reviewed to back them up. The flogs regurgitate propaganda... e.g. "Everyone's using it." No backups other than, "the genie's out of the bottle, get used to it
