This statement about the transphobic Supreme Court ruling by the UK's Crab Museum (yes a museum about crabs) is better than 99% of the statements I've seen on the topic

Worst part of losing today is that it was on the BBC which means a load of people who don’t watch football usually will have opinions and I have to be in the office tomorrow and talk to them and I do not need this

For all the talk of Arsenal’s corners (which basically translates as ‘Arsenal are good at them how do we now rebrand it as cheating?’) Newcastle tried to take a corner with two players off the pitch and the linesman didn’t know that’s against the rules. Martinelli had to tell him repeatedly.

Unearthed review of Gregg Wallace's 'travesty' of a restaurant
The brilliant Marina O'Loughlin dined at Gregg's Table in 2012 — she wasn't impressed.

It might make some people uncomfortable but the gay legacy in men's football in England is still Justin Fashanu. Nothing has progressed. In real terms, nothing has changed. No player in the top flight has felt comfortable enough to come out.

The Spanish commentators are imitating JAWS music every time we get a corner. It's absolutely ridiculous hahaha

Best thing about today was Saliba immediately wheeling away in celebration like he had just pinged one in from 40 yards rather than it accidentally bouncing in off his arse.

The aura Arsenal have when they set up for corners is one of the most astronomically insane things I’ve ever seen in football. Nicolas Jover you have legitimately changed my damn life.

Weird how these players making a religious statement on rainbow armbands still manage to find the peace of mind to play alongside domestic abusers and sexual offenders. Jesus would have thought you were a cunt as well.

the football journalist who amassed the most followers in the early days of Twitter was Henry Winter. What was his strategy? Didn’t reply to anyone for five years and kept on banging on about Jack Rodwell. I’m gonna try the same on here.

Also, part of the reason we did bought InfoWars is because people on Bluesky told us it would be funny to buy InfoWars. And those people were right. This is the funniest thing that has ever happened.

Big problem with switching to a new platform is that I had a fair amount of followers on twitter because I used to have a lot of thoughts I felt compelled to voice, whereas now, with age, my brain has become as smooth and stoical as a pebble.
