So much American magazine-style journalism is people affecting surprise and perplexity over things they should, if they were doing their job responsibly, be communicating are neither surprising nor perplexing. I first noticed it on Rachel Maddow, now I can't stop noticing it.

š¢Fair, and possible. Most surveys I've seen excluded intersex cases. Most folks don't realize how common steroid use is among high school boys (7% to 10%), or just how common getting gyno from steroid use is (~50% to 60%). 97% of the gender affirming care surgeries surveyed, were gyno reduction.

The study dispels a well-worn anti-trans talking point about how healthcare providers treat gender dysphoria in kids.

Again, Most "unfair muscle mass " in sports, is straight cis boys taking steroids. Most "gender affirming care for children," is straight cis boys getting gyno surgery to remove the unwanted boobs that they grew, because they took steroids. šš No one really cares about "fairness in sports." š¤·šæāāļø

It is so damn obvious the trans sports issue is a drummed up nonsense moral panic masquerading as ācommon senseā - but if you look deeper for two seconds you see how the whole point of sex segregated sports is to defund women athletics & to build and propagandize the western idea of women as weak.

The fact that left-of-center folks see it as hypocrisy is itself a sign that they do not understand the contemporary right. From the basic Wilhoit-ian perspective of conservatism, there's no contradiction, no hypocrisy. Power *is* the principle.

Yeah, if you're in the media and someone insists that "they" were celebrating his murder and therefore "they" have to suffer some sort of retribution, you have an obligation to ask who "they" are and what, specifically, they did to celebrate this. You can't just let them throw that gas on the fire.
