My life's accomplishments include being a part of a nebulous group which organizes mass illegal bicycle rides to clog up roads during rush hour traffic. It may be the accomplishment I'm most proud of.

Also worth noting that the private equity firm (Stonepeak) owns Astound Broadband, one of the Chicago area's largest internet service & cable providers. Buying the meters would give them significant control over the city's physical & virtual infrastructure.

Hi I never post but I’m trying to get in touch with a cyclist I saw get hit yesterday on Clark/lawrence. I have their bike and some witness phone numbers! (They gave me their number but their phone got fucked up) If you know someone named Chance who bikes could you put me in touch?

This should be deeply embarrassing for the NYC City council. Paying interns would be one of the easiest and cheapest "lead by example" things that Council could do on equal access and living wages. Who can afford to do an unpaid internship for the summer? (not poor folk!)

There was a time when small scale firebombings were frighteningly common occurrence in Chicago - often against public figures like politicians and judges, but also frequently against regular people who dared to try to desegregate residential neighborhoods. I would not like to return to that.
