While this is going on here, ICE has been spotted on foot + in vehicles across SW + NW sides of Chicago. Can't verify reports rn, but also presuming suburbs. Yesterday was brutal. It's not lost on us they have more agents free for weekend kidnappings now with their facility secured by state police.

Based on all the social media reports, today may have been the busiest Friday for ICE activity that we’ve seen since this surge started. With hundreds of police now protecting ICE’s facility for them, presumably ICE is able to deploy more agents to snatch people.

The Northwest Side Rapid Response Team posted this community alert a short while ago. It describes how a resident in Albany Park was lured by a phone call that indicated they had won a prize. Another was lured to an address to pick up scrap metal. Both were detained by ICE upon arrival.
