I got onto the train to go into Paris after flying into CDG and on the train was a very fancy poodle, a couple kissing and drinking champagne out of flutes, a guy playing the accordion and finally a guy in a striped shirt carrying a baguette. It felt like a prank.

Honestly, this historic heat dome across the West is really hard to put into words for me. Temperatures over 110°F (43°C) in March, shattering all-time monthly records on multiple consecutive days, and not just by a little. ➡️ I can confirm this is human-caused climate change.

I can't explain the sheer joy of safely and comfortably cycling side by side with your child through the streets of Amsterdam on cycle tracks and low traffic streets. Just joyful travelling, absolutely everywhere. If you haven't experienced it get a train or ferry over here booked!
