Wants to know what you had for dinner.
In a right old mood. Fed up of the news. Fed up of the grey winter. Fed up of the bullying of the BBC. Fed up of waiting for payday.

I like the Carry On films but the lore is too confusing, impossible for modern audiences to accept these people could play a major part in the French Revolution AND lose their bras on camping holidays

What’s everyone having for dinner? I’m making a v quick carrot dal, having with posh oven chips and garlicky broccoli. Chopped mango and apple for afters. Insomnia is biting lumps out of me so I need all the nutrition I can get.

What’s everyone having for dinner? I’ve defrosted the pork chilli I rejected when I was poorly. Hoping it’s actually decent. Having with avo, quick red onion + carrot pickle and tortilla chips. No booze. Ice cream stick for afters.

Traitors fans! This is genuinely funny. Wish I worked in an office that would do this.

After a colleague had the bright idea of a workplace version of the hit BBC show, I lied and cheated with impunity. Then the strain began to show, says journalist and podcaster Ed Campbell

Just discovered Evil Or Genius on BBC Sounds and what a crazy list of subjects they have. First one I heard was on Kim Philby, fair enough discussion. But Billie Holiday? What‘s she ever done?

Some years ago at Halloween I met our neighbour Jerry Dammers out trick or treating with a gaggle of children dressed as ghouls. I resisted the temptation to say ‘This town is coming like a ghost town’ because he was probably fed up of hearing it quoted to him every 31st October.

Everything But The Girl just on the radio and sharp flashback to when my sister made everyone hate her by playing THAT album ad nauseum. Her then boyfriend pulled the cassette out of the car player, pulled all tape out and threw the whole tangled mess out of the window.

My last repost on language around migration really hit home for me. It’s in a US context but principles apply here too. They are both outstandingly clear and right, wish we had more of this pushback on shit and compliant journalism.
