Am I noticing a concerted effort to undermine confidence in OMNY? I keep seeing strange social media posts about the MTA stealing from people via OMNY. I say strange because, if there was an error and you are overcharged, you can get that corrected. I even saw one person call OMNY a "scam".

The non-cyclist obsession with helmets puts it front and center of media coverage of cyclists' deaths. As if to say "our decision to prioritize driving, fight safe street design, absolve drivers of accountability, and categorize enforcement of driving laws as a cash grab is in no way contributory".
