Trump and Republicans keep getting asked what’s next in Iran. Their answers are “hopefully” this or “we hope” that.  Hope is not a strategy, and a plan built on hope alone is how we end up in decades-long wars that cost thousands of American lives.

Prices are up, and families are struggling because Trump’s tariffs raised their bills by more than $1,000 last year. He just lost at the Supreme Court and doubled down on tariffs anyway. Trump can’t admit when he’s wrong, and Americans are literally paying the price.

Prices are not “down” for Americans. While Trump and his billionaire friends get richer, working families are stretching every dollar to cover food, rent, and gas. He needs to come back to reality and work with us to actually bring down costs.

The Supreme Court’s decision is good news for everyone. Trump’s tariffs are a tax on everyday Arizonans. Everyone felt the burden — ranchers, farmers, small businesses, and families. Today’s low GDP numbers make it clear: We can’t afford trade policies that hold our economy back.

Today, we celebrate Arizona Statehood Day and the grit that defines our state. From innovators and small business owners to veterans, teachers, and families, Arizona has always been built by people who show up, work hard, and look out for one another.

Today’s ruling was a victory for free speech, but don’t expect Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth to give up. We have to keep standing up to this Administration when they undermine Americans’ rights.

Trump and his Administration want to make an example out of me so they can scare Americans like you and keep you from speaking out against him. The most patriotic thing any of us can do right now is to keep speaking up.

Trump’s DOJ tried to charge me with a crime simply for saying something they didn’t like. Think about that. This is after DOD already censured and threatened to demote me. He wants to make an example out of me and scare Americans from speaking out against him. Don’t let it work.

Trump’s family is billions of dollars richer than last year. The average American family? They’re worse off. Trump’s top priority has always been himself. If he spent half as much time actually being President as he has profiting off his presidency, the story might be different.

We all know big corporations have too much influence in Washington. I've never taken a dime of corporate PAC money because Arizonans need to know their elected leaders are working for them. We need to put people first and get corporate money out of politics.

Data centers are driving up energy demand. Tech companies need to do their part to modernize and expand our energy infrastructure so Arizonans aren’t footing the bill, because affordable utilities aren't negotiable.

Across the country, ICE raids are being carried out with excessive force, little transparency, and devastating consequences for families. When enforcement looks like a military operation and accountability is absent, people get hurt and trust in law enforcement breaks down.

Arizona gets more sun than almost anywhere in America. We should be the solar energy capital. Renewable energy like solar means lower energy bills and more good-paying jobs, but Trump is gutting these investments.

Growing up, I watched my mom sit down at the end of every month and figure out which bills to pay. My parents both worked as full-time police officers, all while raising my brother and me. Two people in public service who were doing everything right, and still had to choose.
