Watching Heated Rivalry blow up and being in the fandom is bittersweet because it’s so fun but I’m also angry we never got that with OFMD. But I think that’s what makes this crew special is that WE did the marketing. WE made the merch. I wish we could have had more, but I love us what we’ve built ❤️

he talked about taika directing the pilot upped the stakes a bit, & gave it some life that wasn't written into the script. he says taika brought a sense of freedom & playfulness and elevated the script, balancing honoring the script with pursuing things in the moment like chemistry, improv, etc

i will ALWAYS be so pissed because not only they cut the budget almost in half and forced them to rush through the season but they ALSO had to get their grubby hands all over and interfere in creative decisions AND refused to promote it... season 2 of our flag means death you deserved so much better
