I've been thinking about this more given what's happening with the US - most other products you can avoid American companies and services, but tech is a difficult one, and one we rarely think about especially when you consider the implications of a lot of our data being stored in a fascist state.

We need to get away from big tech in our current climate. Imagine the local GAA club offering open source cloud services, mesh networks etc. Credit unions with a local jellyfin service so you don't need netflix etc. Would transform tech make it local, accessible & more robust.
