It's heartbreaking seeing so many articulate, well spoken trans women speak on social media about the impacts of the EHRC's guidance on themselves, cis women, feminism, patriarchy & human rights none none of them will be given a proper platform to share it where it matters. The hurt is palpable.

The idea of Vote Left, Transfer Left was pretty strongly adhered to in Dublin Central as the count went on. What happened was that the voters didn’t consider SF to be left. The SF candidates big transfer moments came from Steenson and Hutch.

If I'm honest. The reason why I think gender critical belief was allowed to become a protected belief is that it is the default belief of the patriarchal cisgender citizen. And one of the reasons why it shouldn't be protected is default beliefs (ie prejudices) have plenty of protection already.

I transitioned twenty years ago, I’m post op and have a GRC and this EHRC guidance is going to make my life considerably more difficult, more complicated and more dangerous and it’s not going to improve the lives of a single women one iota.
