It's moving day and unfortunately the weather forecasters got it right. It's pouring out. We don't actually start moving until noon so let's hope it slacks off by then!

Today's food stance: Hot chocolate is different than hot cocoa and is gross. It's basically a melted candy bar.

There's a chance that furniture move-in day will now be Wednesday, since the forecast for Tuesday has changed from "rain" to "heavy rain". Sigh.

Finally, after months of delays, I'm moving into my new apartment on Monday. Technically, all the furniture is getting delivered Tuesday, but the lease gets signed on Monday. This is the apartment I was originally scheduled to move into on October 21st.

December is shaping up to be a highly stressful month. I'm moving on the 1st, I have jury duty at the end of the month, two doctor's appointments, and of course Christmas without the family. Hopefully I can get out of jury duty because of my agoraphobia w/panic disorder but we'll see. Stress!

New Apartment, part 3. Today I go again to the leasing office to see if I'll finally be able to move into the apartment next week, or if the move-in date will get bumped yet again. The original move-in date was October 21. Now it's hypothetically December 1. We'll see.

Went to my favorite Chinese place for lunch, ordered something different than my usual. The waitress commented that she didn't think I'd find it spicy enough. I'm so proud of myself. They know I can handle actually spicy food! (I asked for it extra-spicy and it was fine. Shoulda gone double-extra.)
