OTD, the Star Trek: The Next Generation series finale "All Good Things..." premiered, ending with a scene that would be echoed decades later on Picard. The cast had a 10-day break and then went back to work to film Star Trek Generations.

OTD, the Star Trek: Enterprise season 2 finale "The Expanse," which began the show's Xindi arc. It was nominated for two Emmys, one for VFX and one for music. Two scenes had to be cut for time, including one in which Hoshi decides to stay on the ship despite the risks.

This day in 1983, David Bowie's ‘Let's Dance’ single officially hit #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Co-produced by Bowie & Nile Rodgers and featuring blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan, it was the first single in Bowie's career to reach #1 on both sides of the Atlantic.

#StarfleetAcademy S1 is the 1st season in the history of #StarTrek to average more than an hour in length across every episode. The avg. ep length was 62 minutes (longest 75 mins, "Kids These Days" & shortest 55 min, "Ko'zeine"). Best thing about this is how episodes still felt compact & well-paced.

If you need some cheering up, watch the first few moments of #StarfleetAcademy's "300th Night"⬅️ and look for the Ferengi cadet performing Nog's Ferengi dance from #StarTrekDS9's "You Are Cordially Invited"➡️. This was completely improvised by the late great Aron Eisenberg - never forgotten!
