#StarfleetAcademy S1 is the 1st season in the history of #StarTrek to average more than an hour in length across every episode. The avg. ep length was 62 minutes (longest 75 mins, "Kids These Days" & shortest 55 min, "Ko'zeine"). Best thing about this is how episodes still felt compact & well-paced.

This is long and detailed! But if you ever wanted to hear about what it was like to be an extra on #StarTrek (in one of the franchise's best-ever episodes) and fire the phasers and put the ship on red alert, now's your chance. We get deep into it on the new "First Flight" pod (Ep. 129). So much fun!

Amidst all this hysteria and complete loss of perspective about "Tales of the Frontier," it's worth remembering that when the studio pays a lot of money for a new #StarTrek show to be made, "coworker 1" is absolutely who they are telling them to make the show for!

Thinking about how back in the 80s they literally taped black cardboard over the stations in the back of the bridge to prevent glare and introduced in jokes in all of the graphics. But yes, please do insist on making up more excuses to be angry over nothing.

Also thinking about how STAR TREK: GENERATIONS had to cobble together uniforms that didn’t look like shit on the big screen b/c regardless of budget, there isn’t enough money to do everything But yes, please do continue whining about every little thing wrong with an image on screen for 0.68 seconds
