There's a UK mystery/police procedural series called Endeavour that I like (as of season 2). It's a prequel series to an older show called Inspector Morse, which I've seen 2-3 episodes of and don't care for. I'm not sure if the overall vibe is off or if Morse just needs god damn subtitles.
