As a person living with #HIV, I can’t help see the parallels between what’s happening to federal agencies like #USAID or the #CDC and a virus that attacks your immune system, takes over a cell’s internal mechanisms for its own purposes and then obliterates the host cell.

A year ago we hosted Sir Elton John in Parliament where the expansion of HIV opt out testing in A&E departments in high prevalence areas was announced. The announcement by the Prime Minister to expand funding for HIV opt-out testing in emergency departments is warmly welcomed.
