Nobody deserves to be abused. It's fantastic news that this Labour Government has published a draft law that will ban conversion practises in England and Wales. This is a huge step forward for the LGBT+ community in West Lancashire.

🇬🇧 This week is Armed Forces Week. This Labour government is deeply proud of our armed forces and all they do to keep us safe. It was an honour to attend the flag raising ceremony in Ormskirk yesterday to recognise the contribution that the Armed Forces makes to West Lancashire and the UK.

Yesterday, I spoke at a petition debate brought in the wake of the Assisted Dying Bill debates in the last parliamentary session. I'm pleased that the state of palliative care is now at the heart of the political agenda. End of life care MUST be better and more accessible for all.

I recently visited Queenscourt Hospice with Bill Esterson MP and Patrick Hurley to discuss the hospice's financial crisis. I know many people in West Lancashire use this hospice and it means a lot to individuals and their loved ones. https://www.queenscourt.org.uk/
