The NHS has just been given the green light to significantly expand access to HIV prevention medication, PrEP. We welcome the updated @bashhuk.bsky.social / @bhiva.bsky.social guidelines on the use of PrEP, which mark a major step forward for HIV prevention in the UK.

Today’s @unaids.org report shows that by the end of 2024, AIDS-related deaths were at their lowest in over 30 years. But this data was collected before the collapse in international HIV funding — a crisis that could undo decades of progress.
