Almost a decade ago, I was very Special Interested in mushrooms and developed an organizing training framework based on mycelium. The core teaching was, people think the above-ground part (the mushroom) is the body of the organism, but that isn't the case. So too with movement. (cont)

Marjane Satrapi’s books and movies had a HUGE impact on me. I still reread and rewatch all the time. And I genuinely believe that she showed the Western world insight into Iran that they’d never had before. This is a tremendous loss.
