Most damning thing I've learned about Dave Filoni, not that he does cameos, but that his character's name is *Trapper Wolf.* Nah dude absolutely not. That's some "Han Solo's secret older brother" nonsense. You wanna put yourself in Star Wars you gotta be called like Bumbus Shetti or Glor Geef.

I was born and raised here. Countless brave Sikh soldiers died for Britain, proudly wearing their turban and kirpan. Thankfully, Rupert and Restore don't get to decide what is British. Beware ⊠today theyâre coming for me, but tomorrow it could be you!

Police bias aside, it's actually a lot easier for them to arrest hundreds of people sitting peacefully with signs than a mob throwing stuff at them and I'm not sure that's the lesson they want us to learn.

This is a Jess O'Thomson appreciation post. I get that people are scared and frustrated, but abusing Trans+ advocates online is fucked up. Iâve endured it. Jess endures it. So many people doing this work endure it. Itâs quite unhelpful to have that to endure alongside everything else.

If you suggest police officers shouldnât kick people in the head, youâll get the chief of the Met condemning you on national television. If you say the police are institutionally racist against whites and suggest people should riot, youâll get invited onto a BBC couch to expand upon your theories.

I actually think it's an important thing to look at the police response to Zack Polanski's very mild criticism and Farage and his crew inciting race riots. Not really keen on people deciding that it's "not the time" when the horse has already bolted.

This shouldn't need saying, but: reverse racism isn't a thing. It can't be a thing because racism is an expression of power relations and there is no scenario in which a white person is structurally disadvantaged in the same way as eg a Black British person is.

To judge every member of a community on the basis of a crime committed by one member of that community is, of course, the very definition of prejudice.

Itâs interesting how this partâs forgotten when conservatives prattle on about the good old days. The idea that someone could support their family on one basic wage was fundamental to the values they claim to have, yet itâs conveniently left out of their nostalgic fantasies.

I find it hard to believe that Hasan Piker is a more immediate danger to civil order in the UK than Israeli football fans who incite race riots wherever they go. Just one of those things where you look at who's getting preferential treatment and wonder What's Going On.

"They don't make them like they used to" is an easy doctrine to believe in when you only look at major Hollywood or streaming slop ponzi scheme movies but the truth is there are so many good movies released every year that if you can't find any you like, it simply boils down to a skill issue
