Stories of Elf World - part 1 of 2

I've been playing the One Page Rules version of Oldhammer a bit lately (well, the version with some more pages of rules), and it's pretty nice. Still tactically interesting, and uses the old models, with some additions, but doesn't take 3+ hours to play and leaves you exhausted afterwards.

I got the new Defiler! So I got into actually finishing the old one, first. I built it some 15 years ago, but it's mostly been lying in a box since then. In those days we didn't have any large demon parts, so I had to use Tyranids. Like with many of my early EC conversions. #PaintingWarhammer

Finished my first self-sculpted and printed figure! This was an arduous process, but hopefully I've learned something for next time. Parts of it worked fine, other parts were... troublesome. Resin being so extremely brittle and fragile doesn't help. But it came out nicely in the end, I think.

This comic had a fun process. Every character and foreground object was ink and brush, greyscale brush pens and white paint. The backgrounds were digital. I feel like it holds up.

Another war machine done for the HH Blood Angels, the dere-dere dreadnought. Ain't it cute? Like a little (well, rather large) candy drop. I tried white ink for the plasmas, and it was a bit tricky, but I think it looks pretty nice in the end. #PaintingWarhammer
