People have been asking what epsilons controller is. It's a playstation navigation controller that's been gutted to use an @adafruit feather esp32 v2, a gpio expander to make wiring inputs easier, and a 1500mah lipo. Pricing out parts to make a spare one just in case. £65....

Whilst sorting some boxes I found a couple of crates of old visors. From before I used a pcb solution for the lighting, so cant be retrofitted with new leds. Designed and 3d printed a plug for the old cutout and plan to sell them for $15 each. They'll be in the store tonight

Excellent news for skull pendant lovers! I took the skulls off the menu for a while bc I was unhappy with the hinge mechanism, but I've reworked it and they're much better now! This also scales down well, which is good for tiny skulls in the future :>

Glad I opted for bearing hinges. 20kg door swings effortlessly and the router jig worked PERFECTLY

Anyone with someone in their ear saying 3d printers are just for making toys and have no practical use, this ones for you. Needed a router jig for these larger than normal hinges. Designed in tinkercad and printed in an hour. lovely flush hinges in no time 😀

People ask me hopw my prints look so clean. My solution is small supports, but a SHITLOAD of them. Its a bit more wasteful on resin, but its less wasteful than a failed print, and the tiny pockmarks left behind sand out easy as pie.

Currently printing vicar amelia by @anyone_nsfw The sculpt is STELLAR! Just the hair to go! Printing at 150% scale so she stands over 40cm tall, on a pair of OG elegoo saturn machines. Kinda wish I had one of the modern 16k machines to really make the cloth details pop!

I really want to get a proper acrylic heated bender so I can make more acrylic skulls. Doing it with a heat gun is slow and risks burns. :<

WORKSHOP UPDATE! Spend a couple of days building the doors. each one is a good 15-20kg XD Had to use a couple of layers of 9mm ply to bulk out the bracing since that was on its side compared to the vertical frame so it all sits flush on the back side.

Spent the day making Epsilon some new teeth with hand wired smd leds. With my sausage fingers, no easy feat let me tell ya XD

Another quick weathering session on epsilons new body suit. Started with airbrushing chocolate brown and dirty black paint. Then watered down paint flicked with a toothbrush for a more granular texture

Bought a nice rothco messenger bag for Epsilons lightweight outfit since I won't have a slew of pouches on a harness. Started with some laser cut stencils and airbrushed the designs on. Then got to work weathering 😀

big renamon printing done! Stls by @manueldejorge.bsky.social , printed in sunlu standard resin on a pair of OG elegoo saturns Weighs a couple of kilo and just shy of 50cm tall. Still gotta sand some pegs to make parts sit nice and flush but love the sculpt!

Redesigned the mic stand for the 190% scale onagaba loona to take aluminium tubes, and I am so happy with the results! Now, where in Satans glorious name am I gonna put a half metre tall hellhound?

All the main printing is done for the Onagaba 190% scale loona 😀 Waiting for metal rods to come to make the mic stand because it'll fare better than resin parts would. The model itself stands JUST shy of 50cm (19.5 inches) plus the thickness of the base.
