It's been a quiet day. I just haven't been feeling social. Admittedly, I've not been feeling very social for a while, but today was just vastly different. I had the wind taken out of my sails not long after jumping on voice chat. Since then, I just shut up and hadn't said a thing all evening.

Had scrambled eggs for breakfast/lunch. I cut out the milk I normally use to make them just as a way to cut some calories, and wow, I think I prefer them without the milk. Now, I'm just enjoying a mix of strawberries, blueberries, and grapes along with a broken up kitkat as a sweet nibble.

I just realised I'm 38 in a month.

Been playing a game called Shape of Dreams and it's brilliant. Probably not the best of the games I've played this year, but for how much I paid? I would definitely recommend it. Yeah it's another roguelite, but it's got something that's really satisfying and engaging here.

Tonight was a good way to end a week alone. I do have pretty much all day tomorrow, but I'll sadly be making sure the house is clean and tidy, as well as doing some laundry, so I may not be doing as much for myself. Still, I should have most of the day free.

These photos are really affirming. I lost a further 2lbs this week and have now lost over a stone (15lbs) in weight. These really do show the progress that I've made. <3

Bed time. Gotta get work done tomorrow, then I'll be free. The parents return late on Sunday night (I believe they land back in the UK at 10:30pm), so I'll get to unwind for the rest of tomorrow after work, and for the whole day on Sunday. I'm looking forward to it.

One more day to go before a day off. I have all Sunday to myself as well, so I will get to enjoy a full day to myself. Work's just been getting in the way of enjoying myself as much as I wanted. It's also been a bit of an off week mentally and socially, so there's that.

I had considered doing some VR tonight, but I kinda didn't want to go on my own, yet, I've been a bit too anti-social to wanna ask friends to come along.

Haven't played Rotwood since the end of last year, so I decided to see what new stuff is in there and what has changed. I am loving how far the game has come through its early access development. I wasn't so keen on some of the systems on its initial release, but now? Loving them.

A demo update for Dead As Disco was released and it seems like they changed some combat stuff, which I'm glad they did. I kinda missed the off-counter into finisher, as opposed to the off-counter, hit an attack button to THEN be allowed to do the finisher. It just wasn't necessary.

This diet is starting to become much harder. I'm feeling more hungry despite eating well enough. It's tough to try and not give into the cravings. ... on the bright side, I've lost a further 2lbs this week. My work definitely contributes massively to this weight loss.
