I have talked to people a lot over the years about how not-the-norm our modern ideas of 'canon' are. Did you know Lawnmower Man had an rpg with an accompanying miniatures line? Because it did. The company that did this did a similar thing for Aliens and Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula. The games and the minis all seemed terrible.

For some reason I watched The Lawnmower Man tonight. I hadn't seen it before. It is an odd movie, very much of its time. A time where people did not know that VR was just wearing monitors on your face and isn't, in fact, a path to human advancement.
