My Heroquest orc was my first model in the 90's, I didn't pick a brush up again, until end of 2003, beginning of 2004. I don't have pics of that army( even though I still have it). The Skaven is my 2nd army I painted in 2005, and I haven't got rid of them either lol. I've been painting ever since.

These guys were apart of my first tactical squad, still love these guys to death. Might go back and touch them up in the future.

Coming back into the hobby after 15 years, I started right back up with my Imperial fists (not pictured here) and Lizardmen (very much pictured here). I now have more old metal Lizardmen than I did back then, with a goal of collecting the whole range (more or less). I even painted 1 new old skink!

Citadel goblin and Chronicle wolf mount from my black-undercoat-and-heavy-drybrush days. Not sure why the wolf has a pink nose - lack of references I guess! He'll get a repaint at some point, hopefully next year...

Even though painting Space Marines was my entry into 40K, the Eldar were my first true love. These two Striking Scorpions I painted in 1994, and I remember that I was very happy with the edge highlighting - a technique I had recently learned.

Here's the first thing I painted when getting back into the hobby in 2014.
