Progress report on the 5th Battalion, 191st Death Korps Assault Korps. Tanks almost finished; artillery about half done; 7 out of 10 platoons complete. Here are about 15,000 pts, 550 infantry, 30 tanks, and 15 guns. The Imperial Guard stands ready to defend the Imperium!

I’m in a bit of a painting slump. But I’ve bought a new gaming mat for #GuardsofTraitorsToll, and made a layout test using all the fantasy buildings in my collection. With all these Rohan and WHFB houses it looks very ragtag and rural, more like an outer district of Traitor's Toll. 😂

I put my #GuardsofTraitorsToll tokens into capsules, because I prefer the tactile feel over that of cardboard. It also makes them stand out. And I bought two awesome freestanding bags from @bags4dice.bsky.social. They look excellent in purple, and are just right for storing and drawing the tokens.

Last year has been such a devastating year for #swallows in Austria, that’s why I’m overjoyed that a pair of barn swallows is nesting near our house. It took me a while to get a somewhat decent photo, so here’s one of the duo. The other one is a bit more camera-shy apparently. #birds
