This is the prototype for my Egg Tank. Basically the same principle as some of the vehicles I have shown earlier but this time with tracks, so it looks a bit more like an actual tank. I have been working on some basic icons for a personal project (which I am not sure will ever be released into the wild). It is all pretty basic stuff, but I was looking for functional icons rather than something particular pretty.

I have been tidying up things on the farm since my new bedroom was finished so I got some storage space with drawers so I could store my City Defenders from Archon Studio in my room. They are actually the only human models I have on the farm, the rest is just buildings, terrain and vehicles.

Today I bought some relatively cheap halloween themed critters (spiders, snakes, centipedes, scorpions...) so I might try to paint them up in a slightly less toy like manner to have a few monsters, as they are all big enough to be seen as monsters by a 28mm scale miniature (or similar sized minis).

I have been making progress on my control consoles, as you can see each keypad is quite small and hard to photograph properly, but you should be able to see nine relatively square buttons in a relatively cylindrical keypad. Not bad considering how I am making them. #miniatures, #tabletop,

Last evening I did some experiments and I think I have found a way to make some control consoles for the gates of my wall sections. I used some plastic net with square holes to make the mould for square buttons and used a cylinder to shape the "body" of the keypad. #miniatures, #tabletop,

A few months ago I converted a cheap dollhouse into suburban terrain. It is not perfect for the usual 28mm scale soldiers I build, but it is close enough and models actually fight inside the rather simple interior. The Games Workshop mini outside is for scale purposes.

One of the things that I will dread if I have to move to a different house is preparing all of my miniatures for transportation, especially if I need to take them in one go, as the previous times I had to move I had way less miniatures built and there are always fragile parts.
