More LOTR progress. Four Galadhrim knights. Having to make dismounted versions of figures sure does add to the painting burden, but I'm getting there.

I'm not posting much but I'm still plugging away at my LOTR stuff. Smashed out Gimli in less than 2hrs today. Quite happy with how he's come out. Might do a few little extra highlights n details later.

7th squad, 2nd company, Novamarine chapter during the Badab War. In my head these guys are part of a demi company quick reaction force used by the Imperials to stamp out Secessionist pushes.

Spent the weekend playing 500pts of Lord of the Rings MESBG for the first time. Elrond got trampled to death! The ruleset is really light and fun, though I’m pretty sure I only remembered to use all my rules in the last game

My army for this weekend. Defenders of Helms Deep. Think its actually got some fun options. Theoden isn't the toughest general, but the Rohan shield wall certainly has some positives, and the elves definitely put in a lot of work. Even if Legolas did roll an awful lot of 1s to hit.

Been off playing LOTR:MESBG today. Absolutely fantastic game. Been doing quite well, and only when I got to the pub after did I find out everyone else has been playing 500pts and my list is only 400pts 🤣

Another update. Managed to get quite far with these guys today. Which is good cos they've got to be done by Friday as well as getting a bunch of other guys finished 😂 love to give myself a challenge.

Some scale comparisons between the new termies and the old. All the extra height seems to be in the legs and waist. Also going to see what the old arms look like once I've got the body together.
