The little painting class was sooooo cuuutteee! The wee Rangers (not girl guides, I got that bit wrong but they're similar) did so well with their first minis in an hour's time limit! GW provided free minis, brushes and paints! The girls even bought me a card and vegan cookies!! So proud!

A pal of mine is running an Old World tournament and asked me to draw a scene in the style of some very retro images from Warhammer's past. Lots of bright colours, white backgrounds and I had a play around with chromatic aberration and misprint effects to sell the idea that it was like an old comic.

My birthday was last week and my mum got me this gorgeous dress! It's finally warm enough in Scotland to wear it today! Obsessed!!

I'm so dumb. I usually use 'fluo' paints for their brightness. I never spent much time thinking about their UV properties 😅 Fun discovery!

The ULTIMATE 40K lifeform that GW are too COWARDLY to create! Pelts always make characters more epic, so he's got that AND wolves for arms because pets are awesome. Crab legs on things that conventionally are bipedal makes them 10X stronger and meat capes for extra awesome. YOUR MOVE WARHAMMER!!!

It was my friend's birthday today, so we went to an awesome retro rock and metal night in Glasgow and danced our tits off to all the music we grew up with! So much fun, but goddamn I'm a sweaty bitch now.

Minis the base, I finished building my Achillius Dreadnaught today and even used her in a 1K point game where she absolutely obliterated a bunch of beefy Kroots (Kroot grumps/Krootrillas/whatever they're called) #WIP

Started bashing some Custodian wardens with Castellan axes out of the new 30k kits. Can now confirm that the swordy guys and the speary guys are two different kits which is a bit cheeky as 99% of the kit is the same. Also fluffy pelts = higher rank. I don't make the rules!

I've been playing with UV resin a lot lately and would really recommend it for very annoying fragile repairs!

I really like narrative 40k games so I've been fiddling around with something fun for 11th edition. I really want to run an edition long campaign that feels a bit like Crusade but still lets you use all of your models up to a 2k points or beyond style game mode. Still a work in progress but fun!

Went to my first Warhammer tournament today! A doubles tournament in Glasgow! I lost every game but won the best painted award with my Eldar!!! Everyone was so wonderful and kind! My first opponents even made home made fudge for everyone!! Adorable!!!

Started building some Custodes today (because I have absolutely no impulse control) and I kitbashed Captain Leonidra (Trajann proxy) and a yet to be named Blade Champion! #WIP
