My model roundup for 2024, started and ended with a tankhead build, but got a few other cool models and conversions in there too

My crusade ancient conversion I like the official model and how it adapts a general marine role to the way black templars work, but I already had a bladeguard ancient body spare, and making the giant crusade shield seemed like it'd be fun

frame and pose test for scorch, still a lot of rough temporary assembly, but I'd say it's good enough to go ahead with and start the serious building now

My sicarian-serberys cyborg-centaur I liked the idea of the interex, a centaur-ish species that I heard about while going through the heresy books, so what if my admech also heard about them and tried to create something along those lines themselves?

next shield test, coloured with ink and contrasts, better but could still be a bit more intense. What I thought was resin not fully set was just some residue that needed wiping with alcohol, but that does leave it a duller Might try a gloss coat and also resin on the edges next

I'm also trying to make this sicarian-seberys-centaur the idea of the interex, a centaur-ish race I heard about from one of the early heresy books, has stuck in my mind, so what if my admech found some archival info and tried to create something like them?

To go along with my execrator, I'm making the other new BT unit it released alongside, a crusade ancient The official model is great, but I didn't pick one up as I had most of a bladeguard ancient spare from my dreadnought, and I figured the standard would be easy enough to make

more UV resin testing for the shield all resin doesn't hold it's flat shape well, but resin "ripples" onto of a clear base might work. Drybrushing colour onto the ripples kinda works, but mixing contrasts into the resin is better, but sets weird

Finished listening to the fulgrim and legion audiobooks, not a big emperors children's fan, but Fulgrims fall to chaos felt a bit more understandable than Horus'. I was pleasantly surprised with how much it covered, and hearing about the iron hands part too

Embodying the same principles, the Sagarmatha [G] Type predates the current Everest pattern by more than a century. It still sees active use in some Union squads. Deployed in record numbers during the Committee Civil War, the Sagarmatha [G] Type is time-honored and battle-tested.

still been working on this build in the background, making sure the leg position will be right, trimming bits to increase range, and I'll be combining the upper 2 sections into 1 larger thigh, which I'll cover with armour later. Also testing out UV resin to make the shield with

The Blacksmith a LancerRPG mechs based on stortebeker frame Designed with hammer arms that can extend like a rubber. The leg is designed like a jumping jack, so this mech able to jump really high Beware, this guy can smash anything like a wrecking ball

We're so happy to see fans finally receiving Deluxe Edition of TANKHEAD. UDON has stocked up a limited quantity of additional Deluxe Editions on their store so preorder them now before they're all gone! This batch ships out in Jan 2026. (Standard Edition is still on the way.)

rough idea for the arms, using the usual kataphron and kastelan parts for the forearms, but the upper arm is thanatar pieces instead of armiger, which is a nice match for the spherical shoulders. Really need to find a pose to lock in and start with bigger changes now

ok so they are 30k skitarii, nice to see them in a slightly different style, I like the helmets and can definitely make use of a lot of parts, especially the marshal's options, but it seems I'm not done cloak cutting yet. I'm hoping we get a melee/secutarii version

I hope we finally get a proper look for these mechanicum units at the preview soon, I've been waiting for them for a while and they'd be perfect for a skinnier cyborg body base instead of having to cut off a skitarii's coat like I normally do
