Unemployment is done. I thought it would last longer but there was a $ limit as well as a date it would end, and I hadn’t seen the $ limit. I’m getting no traction with applications. No interviews for weeks. I’m at a loss as to what to do now. I’m trying my hardest.

The discussion of artist tools reminds me how Adam Hughes said in an interview when people ask him how to do what he does is say “do you know how to paint? If not, learn that first then talk to me” and he was right. The fundamentals of the skill are more important than the tool most times
