The first game I remember with a Christmas "easter egg" was "Dark Castle" on the Mac back in the 80s. The loading screen changed to include Christmas decorations and a tree during Christmas week. Skyrim still feels like a Christmas game to me, too.

This is a good list. My hot take is that "The Empire Strikes Back" is an excellent movie that ruined Star Wars. It became about all that mystic-ass Jedi shit in TESB. It reduced the galaxy-spanning conflict to a family spat.
