Today I saw upwards of a dozen Pokebros at a big box store in the middle of the morning waiting for the TCG stock to come in. It was really gross and made me sad about a lot of things; the state of collecting, the crazy amount of consumption, and the economic situations that drive people to gamble

Ended up 1-2 on Zyggy at my last prerelease of the season! My pool just screamed at me to play them, but got paired into 2 Auroras 😭 the mirror match was a mind bender tho, glad I made it through that one. Can’t wait to draft! Omens is a hoot! And remember: don’t buy sealed expecting value!

Spent a good chunk of the evening helping my wife sort her Pokemon card collection and we bugged out over how crazy prices are. Obviously expected the old stuff to be kind of valuable but was surprised at how high late 2000/early 2010s cards can be! What the heck!
