Played High Seas draft tonight. After taking 23 cards I finally get my first gold of the match to my opponents 12. They also have 23 health to my 10. My opponent cracks their 12 gold to be under my gold count to just steal my one gold out of spite with a card they played. Me:

I've enjoyed taking a break from content creation after doing it in some fashion for the past 6-8 years or so. That being said I do at times miss it. Just this morning I was thinking messing around with an idea and had to actively talk myself out of it.

My LGS: "we are doing SAGE once a month" Me: "so many choices too few SAGE armories" 7 decks built working on 8&9 now.

Man I can't begin to express enough how excited I am for the SAGE format with @fabtcg.com. it's a lot of fun, great for armory level and HUGE for people being able to get into the game. I mean taking the $20 precons out of the picture these deck list prices are great!

Went to armory tonight. Bought 3 Silver Age Precons, one of the packs inside contained a marvel Azalea. I also went 2-1 on Florian but that wasn't as exciting as getting the marvel for a hero I want to play a lot of in SAGE.

When I buy cards on TCGPlayer I don't often look at the seller, but I got my mail notification today on some cards set to be delivered and I saw the return address and I know I'm gonna get quality items with no concerns. @tcgted.bsky.social

Look I'm very much excited for PEN and the cards it is bringing to the game and think it may become one of my favorite sets yet. However, call me woke if you want, there are at least 2 cards that I really am shocked nobody went "do we really want to print this" in terms of art or name.

As somebody that is a big LoL fan but terrible at fighting games, I wasn't sure if I'd like 2XKO, but decided to sell some FaB cards and get a leverless controller and my God has it helped! I didn't realize how much of a difference it is over a normal game controller or fight stick.

Furnace broke on the coldest days of the year and can't be replaced until Friday. It's gonna be a long and cold few days in my house. Ordered some radiators and space heaters for pick up from home Depot this morning after my house dropped from 69 yesterday to 53.

I have a rule. In comp queue on talishar I allow undos anytime my opponent asks unless I've revealed new info with the exception of if they clearly meant to do something different. Match I'm in now guy is taking 60 seconds each time he has priority to do something because I said no to an undo.

I shared my Arakni list with some folks who say I'm insane for thinking Huntsman is currently the best assassin right now. They are the only ones with the current list. I just filtered on "community results" and this is what I see. Somebody is a secret believer and I'm happy. #fabtcg

Been asking my wife for years for a record player. Today this arrived as an early Christmas present. I've entered my Vinyl stage of old man hobbies.

It's my wife's turn to cook dinner for the family. She just said "I'll start dinner after I solve this rubix cube". She could have just told me she thinks I need to go on a diet, she didn't need to make an excuse.

I'll never forgive myself for not winning this.

Home from worlds and had a good (but exhausting) time. Thanks to everybody that came up to me to say Hi, and thanks for all my opponents who put up with my degenerate decks (decimated Dori and huntsman). Finished the weekend 9-3 doing side events. Now to nap.
