To begin a new year’s #pendragonmtg Card of the Day, I’d like to highlight this simple utility pauper card. A 4-toughness blocker for 2 is a solid deterrent, great trample soak, and if they do overpower it, drops a sweet little mana treat. It fits into any color identity and every deck!

#pendragonmtg card of the day: Robe of Mirrors Wow, that’s a nice Excalibur. Be a shame if your commander couldn’t be the target of its Equip ability… Shroud can be both protective and offensive in this pauper format when so much of the power is in the legendary equipments.
