The observation that Rhystic Study is less effective at ruining low power games is one that I can agree with, but I still don’t really think it belongs in EDH. It works well in #PendragonMTG. In fact, I would argue that competitive Pendragon games are where it is most enjoyably played.

If you are running Luxior as your Excalibur in #PendragonMTG or just as a powerful equipment in Commander, I highly suggest you add in some of the #LorwynEclipsed Blight mechanic. With Luxor equipped it's all value with no downside.

There's a handful of existing fan formats that have done good enough/tested enough to see big play Pauper and peasant commander utilize non rare/mythical as commanders @pendragonmtg.com is a fun format with the commander being common having a legendary equipment
