There are no perfect solutions. Life isn’t perfect. It’s messy and can be sad and scary but it also has the ability to be beautiful and fun. Don’t let other people’s perceived opinions (or real ones) keep you from life.

If your group isn't doing what you want, you don't have to be a leader to demand a change. You should be exacting what you need to see in the world, & if you're not seeing it in others, be it in yourself. If you try, you succeed. This is a life lesson both within and without the creator community.

I went to prerelease. The games were fun & interesting but I was inundated with Spider Man ads every time I opened Companion. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It's more than "cancelling" to be clear. They reported me to WotC for "using trauma as content" and WotC did zero investigation and removed me from the Early Access program and other things I'm sure without so much as a notification but kept up someone who assaulted someone else as an ambassador.

Keeping quiet doesn't protect victims; it protects perpetrators.

@magic.wizards.com if you want women to play your game maybe don't have someone who sexually assaulted someone as an ambassador of your game when there was a report made with proof. Women don't want to be pandered to. They want to feel safe at events and game stores. Put out guidance.

Additionally, I've cancelled stream for the foreseeable future. At this point, Queen of Cardboard is defunct. Take care of your mental health. Take care of your friends. Take care of the community.

So unfortunately I won't be attending MC Atlanta. I'm still deciding what, if any after events I'll be attending. Sorry folks, gotta put real life first.
