February 14, 1982: Benefit Gala at the New York Hilton immediately following the taping of Night of 100 Stars at Radio City Music Hall. The next day, on the flight home to Los Angeles, Andy and VP had a monster row. Their relationship ended for good March 4, the night before his birthday.

A bit of backstory on that photo: In 1979, "Club New York New York" was a disco on 33 West 52nd Street. It had previously been a supper club in the 1930s. And it was very popular in the 1970s. Ella Fitzgerald had her birthday party there. Today, there is no trace of it. 1/
