Fetishizing violent tough-guyism is grotesque. I'm appalled at the whole situation. The number of people who can and should have said "No" to this is staggering, yet here we are—enough complicit and/or compliant people in the chain of command to enact this heinous, illegal, immoral act.

I could never get into it. I dipped a toe briefly when I saw it was a vehicle generating a lot of traffic for something I made, but I could never stay for long without experiencing a toxic deluge that was too much to ignore. This place has been pretty awesome by comparison.
