When a lot of Gulls went up over the eastern shores of Holes Bay I was expecting an incoming raptor but turns out a Stork was crossing Holes Bay headed towards Hamworthy. This was probably the best pic I could manage.

A good proposal and long overdue. But it still allows other wild Duck species to be shot, resulting in thousands of Waders, Duck, Geese etc being disturbed at the point they are able to feed, because somebody with a gun thinks wildfowling is fun

Things came to a head at the Poole peregrines nest site 11th March. The juvenile male (HG) attacked the adult male (his father). They scrapped for a few minutes then the juvenile fled and hasn't been seen in the box since. Time for HG to make his own way.
