Lovely to see my first double figure UK flock of 12 Glossy Ibis just now at Sunnyside, with the video below showing some of the group as viewed through a frustratingly ungappy hedge. The birds were feeding well by the looks of things, despite regular flushing by canines @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social

This colour-ringed Lapwing was at #LytchettFields yesterday but stubbornly stayed balanced on it's left leg until it flew when I then realised it had lost it's right leg above the knee!! It's left leg matches the combination of a bird we recorded in 2021 N(flag)//WN - N//Bmetal
