An intruder Osprey with a tatty tail caused havoc at the Carey nest this morning, on and off for about two hours. 022 chased it while carrying a fish, CJ7 joined in, but it was extremely persistent. Amazing sight for the public group tour!

What a season for the Carey Ospreys! 🤩 With fledging being imminent, there’ll be plenty of action on the nest over the next few weeks - fish deliveries from CJ7 & 022 and the chicks first flights! Join us on a Carey Osprey Tour to witness it live 👉🏻

20 plus Sanderlings at Shell Bay and round Pilot’s Point, constantly being moved by a stream of dogs and walkers. I know the protection area wasn’t successful but would notices asking people to give a bit of space work
