Not many birds around the main reserve at Martin Down seemingly because they were all in the stubble field(and hedgderow) bordering the reserve. At least 15 Whinchat along a 200m stretch!!

Three Ospreys seen flying east over Lytchett Bay at c.9.30am. One returned just after 10am circling high over Rock Lea VP with a fish that it probably caught in Holes Bay. @harbourbirds.bsky.social @ukoi.bsky.social @ianballam.bsky.social @lytchettbirder.bsky.social @narwhalsh.bsky.social

The unringed Osprey eventually caught a decent-sized fish in the Bay and flew off with it towards Holton Lee. @ianballam.bsky.social @lytchettbirder.bsky.social @narwhalsh.bsky.social
